QUEEN VICTORIA INFORMATION

Relish the contemporary sophistication and timeless elegance of her magnificent venues such as the soaring Grand Lobby, where you will feel as if you’ve stepped back to a more sophisticated era. Or the spectacular Royal Court Theatre featuring the first-at-sea private boxes bringing you unobstructed views of entertaining productions. From the sparkling Mediterranean to the pristine waters in Northern Europe, Queen Victoria will immerse you in the best of European cultures and destinations.

ABOUT CUNARD

If travel is meant to be savoured, then crossing the oceans should be a majestic experience, not merely a hop across the pond, as some would have it. For travellers of this persuasion, only one name evokes the pleasures of a golden era. That name is Cunard Line. The grand tradition of the classic ocean voyage is very much alive aboard the luxury liners of Cunard. And where once legends strolled the promenade, today so can you, proving that true luxury belongs to no particular era. For 160 years, Cunard has worked to make the art of cruising indistinguishable from the art of living well. Aboard the five-star vessels, and in unique adventures ashore, music and painting is blended with cuisine and conversation, invigorating walks with reading and relaxation, explorations of historic landmarks with the spectacle and purity of nature. This is the Cunard legacy: timeless elegance, incomparable service, intriguing destinations and, quite simply, a more cultured experience. To travel on one of the Cunard ships today is to experience a part of that heritage and return to an era of unabashed opulence from the golden age of ocean travel. Imagine it. Across the oceans, in the lap of luxury to fabled cities and idyllic islands on a voyage bound only for pleasure. Cunard, the tradition continues.

Bars and Lounges

Bars and Lounges on Queen Victoria

Commodore Club

Majestically overlooking the bow of Queen Victoria, the Commodore Club provides glorious panoramic views as you sail towards the horizon. Relax and be tempted with the unique Commodore Club cocktails.

Chart Room

An elegant pre-dinner drink is certainly on order as you relax in this nautically themed lounge and bar. Through charts and cartography, the elegant menu navigates destination-specific stories, pairing a selection of classic beverages with light canapés and snacks – including delectable Godiva chocolates.

Midship's Lounge

Overlooking the Grand Lobby, the Midship’s Lounge is the ideal place to people-watch or enjoy live music. The menu brings to life wines, prosecco, cava and champagne alongside premium gin and spirits, which are all blended to create fresh and inspiring cocktails.

Queens Room

Step into the Queens Room to appreciate an ambience reminiscent of that enjoyed by Queen Victoria in her much loved home, Osborne House. Contemporary meets classic with an unmistakable sense of occasion. Cantilevered balconies, ornate frescos and backlit glass panels rise to the height of two decks

Here is the setting for two timeless Cunard traditions: indulgent afternoon tea served by white gloved waiters offering a choice of teas from around the world, and cucumber sandwiches followed by scones served with lashings of jam and clotted cream.

Evenings boast another of Cunards finest traditions as guests take to the floor to enjoy elegant ballroom dancing with a mix of beats to accompany the glittering ball gowns and tuxedoed guests as they whirl and spin to the resident orchestra. Captains cocktail parties, themed balls, the social scene is endless in this most impressive of ballrooms.

Golden Lion

Darts, karaoke, live sports and ale – everything you’d expect of an authentic English pub. There’s even a traditional pub lunch served every day, with classic favourites such as fish and chips, curry and Ploughman’s.

Winter Garden

Gaze across to the sun-dappled horizon in almost every direction from this grand conservatory, filled with greenery. A retractable glass roof even allows you to feel the warm sunshine on your face without setting foot outside.

Lido & Pavillion Bar

The Lido and Pavilion bars serve the two main pools on Queen Victoria, so you’re never too far from a refreshing drink. During sail-away parties, the bars serve champagne and cocktails as the resident band plays.

Yacht Club

Swing into the rhythm of the band under the splendid glass-domed roof of the Yacht Club. The sky is the limit for an evening of entertainment; meet well-known insight speakers, take notice of our resident solo jazz guitarist and dance late into the night with our DJ and dance band.
